If necessary, you can configure any toolbar independently determine its contents — to go to the appropriate mode use the command View > Toolbars > Settings. On the left side of the interface displays the Navigation Pane , which can be conveniently used to jump to different modes of the program ( in Fig. 8.8 it displays a list of mail folders ) . To control the display of the navigation pane, use the command of the main View menu > Panel Outlook, also called key combination Alt + F1. Navigation Pane button , located in the lower part ( Mail, Calendar , etc.) some commands duplicate the Go menu. Central part of the interface takes workspace programs , the contents of which depends on the selected mode . Fig . 8.8 shows the contents of the workspace in the Mail mode (this mode we will consider later). In this case, the workspace consists of two parts : at the top shows the contents of the folder in which transitions in the cursor , and below — the text of the letter that is highlighted. Along the bottom of the program window is a status bar . To control the display of the status bar of the main menu, use the command > View status bar . Before you begin to work with e-mail in Microsoft Outlook, you must first configure at least one e-mail account . To learn how to do it, are further explained . Setting up accounts In Microsoft Outlook e-mail account contains information about the mailbox name, password , server, incoming and outgoing mail , etc. The account is created for each mailbox , so many boxes you want to handle in Microsoft Outlook — so many accounts and will need to create . To access the setup e-mail account is what the command menu Service > E-mail Accounts . When activated, this command opens a window , as shown in Fig. 5.9 . Fig . 5.9 .
